We love canvas prints!

Here at Great Big Pictures we get excited about creating canvas prints. We use the best materials and craftsmanship to provide individual hand finished canvas prints to be proud of. We think you will be amazed at how impressive your favourite photos look when they are blown up and mounted as canvas prints. Wave goodbye to boring blank walls in your home or workplace and say hello to individually designed canvas prints that can have a wonderful impact on the rooms you put them in.

All of our canvas prints are printed to the highest quality. We print using Canon IPF 8000 large format printers on professional artist grade brilliant white 420 gsm canvas using inks that are said to be colourfast and non-fade for up to 75 years. Canvas prints are hand finished and mounted on frames made of high quality 38mm kiln dried pine and then treated with a clear protective coating. All our canvas prints are supplied ready to mount (we even provide the fixings).

FAQ’s

How long until I get my canvas?
We are usually able to deliver your canvas print in 3-5 workings days but please allow up to 7 working days.

What if I don’t have a digital image?
No problem! We can create your canvas print from an actual paper photo or even a negative. The best thing to do is to contact us to discuss what you want. Click here for our contact details.

Will the canvas print be exactly the same as my image?
Usually it will be better! We provide a free basic touch up to get rid of small blemishes. More than 90% of our customers want canvas wrap which means that the edge of the image is wrapped around the frame. We can send you a proof of the image before it’s printed, just ask us if you’d like us to.

How much is the delivery charge? 
All UK deliveries are at a standard rate of £5 per item

What if my photo is portrait rather than landscape?
Again not a problem, our website has been set up for landscape images but portrait is just as easy for us to do. Just tell us if want portrait.

Can I get a non standard size?
If it’s physically possible to print then the answer is usually yes but its best that you contact us so we can double check for you.

How do I protect my canvas prints?
We finish all canvas prints with a clear protective coating so they shouldn’t require any maintenance other than an occasional wipe to get rid of dust. Try to avoid hanging your canvas directly above radiators or fires and it’s better for your canvas if you don’t place it in constant direct sunlight.

This might sound obvious but avoid using sharp objects to open the packaging when you canvas arrives. We know you’ll be excited but take your time. Canvas prints and sharp objects are not a good combination!

How do I use my discount code?
We sometimes offer discounts and special offers to our existing customers (and if your really nice our favourite new ones). You can enter your discount code in the box provided in your shopping cart.

How secure is your payment system?
Our secure payment system is provided by Barclays using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol encryption.  This is the same level of security used for Internet banking.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Solo, JCB and UK Maestro. We also accept personal cheques made payable to ‘Great Big Pictures Ltd’.

What do I do if I’m not happy or any reason?
We want you to be 100% happy so contact us as soon as possible so we can make you happy again*.

*Unfortunately we can’t help you with any marriage, partner or other personal problems!
